Archi Table - Explore the encounter between craftsmanship and design

For the 2024 Salone del Mobile, as part of the 'Fabula' project by Storagemilano, we are excited to present Archi: a table that celebrates Italian architecture

Designed by Storagemilano Archi table is a monumental piece covered entirely in inlaid oak root, born from the meeting of classic architectural forms of arches and cross vaults with the tradition of the noble workmanship of cabinetmaking. The base, composed of six legs that draw a series of arches, not only performs the function of supporting the top but becomes an allusion to past eras: a microarchitecture in the product itself. The rectangular top, is embellished with a hammered inlay in dark heat-treated that mimics the design of the architectural base in two dimensions. An authentic blend of craftsmanship and design, Archi is not just a piece of furniture but a celebration of Italian architecture in miniature form, overcoming the simple functionality of the object and becoming a symbol of beauty and historical memory. A real tribute to the excellence of Italian design, capable of transforming everyday life into extraordinary.
