Italian creativity and Swiss precision merge to create the unmistakable style of Philippe Bestenheider. Born in Sion, Switzerland, in 1971, he graduated in architecture from the Zurich Polytechnic and collaborated with studios in Switzerland and the United States. In 2000, he earned a Master's degree in Industrial Design from the Domus Academy in Milan, where he was later invited as a workshop leader.
From 2001 to 2006, he served as a Senior Designer at Patricia Urquiola's studio in Milan, collaborating with companies such as Moroso, Molteni, Agape, Alessi, Axor, and others. In 2006, he was invited to participate in the Promosedia exhibition. In 2007, he opened his own studio and worked between Switzerland and Milan. Bestenheider collaborates with Moroso, Pallucco, Fratelli Boffi, Varaschin, Frag, and the Nilufar Gallery.
