The scent of wood and the purity of unspoiled nature inspire Fratelli Boffi, which – thanks to the design expertise of Archer Humphryes Architects – introduces for the first time a collection dedicated to mountain outdoor living. Cervino is a furniture collection comprising chairs, stools, lounge chair, benches and tables designed for outdoor use yet perfectly suited for indoor environments thanks to their refined aesthetics and timeless elegance. Each piece is united by use of high-quality woods, contemporary design and exquisite detailing. For this new collection, Fratelli Boffi delves into history, selecting traditional woods while fully embracing the values of sustainability. Leading the selection is sassafras wood, also known as American chestnut, rarely used in the furniture world. With its light golden tone and natural resistance to moisture, it is particularly suitable for outdoor use. From the European tradition comes oak, valued for its beautiful grain and excellent durability. Finally, cedar wood, highly resistant to humidity and water, is also ideal for exterior environments; when exposed to the elements, it develops an elegant grey-taupe patina.
