Fratelli Boffi @ Cersaie 2026

Alberto, between cabinetmaking and ceramics 

On the occasion of Cersaie 2026, Fratelli Boffi presents a new interpretation of Alberto, the table designed by Maria Vittoria Paggini, created in collaboration with Cerasarda. A meeting of cabinetmaking and ceramic craftsmanship, where different materials, colours and techniques come together, offering a fresh expression of the design's sculptural and decorative character. 
The table retains its distinctive elongated octagonal top, supported by two contrasting geometric bases: one cylindrical, crafted from solid tulipwood with a glossy black and white lacquered finish, and the other diamond-shaped, lacquered in orange with a black conical support. Framed in glossy black lacquered solid wood, the tabletop features ceramics from the Nouvelle Déco by Pitrizzia collection, in the Imperiale and Nero shades. Inspired by the ornamental language of Art Deco, the glazed surfaces stand out for thei vibrant colours and distinctive craquelé effect, adding depth and movement to the composition. 
The collaboration celebrates the meeting of two expressions of Italian craftsmanship, where the precision of artisanal techniques meets the expressive freedom of decoration, giving shape to a piece with a bold and contemporary identity.
