Its style is embodied in the imposing, lathed supporting base, a real masterpiece of inlaid work, where the scalloped, rounded edges of the surface contain decorations in a plant pattern: a precious motif realized by the different colorations of the dark woods—mahogany, ebony, walnut and ziricote – and by brass inserts.
